Joe Geig

MS, LPCC-S, CCSAS, Executive Director

Joe is our Executive Director and approved by the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist Board as a Supervising Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (License# E.1100215-SUPV). He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology from The Ohio State University and a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio. He is a Certified Clinical Sexual Addiction Specialist, approved by Christian Sex Addiction Specialists International (C-SASI, formerly IACSAS) and a Gottman Institute approved 7 Principles of Making Marriage Work Leader. Joe has worked in various business venues using his organizational and people skills. His passion is working with families, couples, and adolescents especially in the areas of conflict, separation, divorce, stress, and adjustment issues.

Additionally, Joe was appointed by Governor Mike DeWine to the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board (OCSWMFT Board) as a board member to serve the Professional Standards Committee for Counselors (2020-Present).

PERSONAL

Joe enjoys spending time with his wife and children along with outdoor activities such as camping, canoeing, hunting and fishing. He also enjoys travel, sports, and concerts. Joe is a member of St. Matthew the Apostle Church in Gahanna.
