Jeanette has been approved by the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist Board as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (License# E.1700036).  Jeanette received her Master of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology from Trevecca Nazarene University, in Nashville, TN in 2008. She also studied worship music at the Bachelor’s level at Mount Vernon Nazarene University, in Mount Vernon, Ohio. Jeanette brings to Spirit of Peace a variety of counseling and other professional experiences; including working with children who have Autism, children and adolescents who have behavioral and educational difficulties, and helping  couples/individuals who have experienced infertility. She has worked in community mental health, school settings, and with a private practice psychologist administering psychological tests.

Locations

Jeanette has been married for 17 years and outside of work, she enjoys caring for her family, which often includes foster and adoptive placements. Jeanette and her husband Bill are raising two adopted children, one from Ethiopia and one from a domestic adoption. Also, a foster son. 
They were named Teaching Family of the Year through their foster and adoptive agency in 2021.
